(4-08) Ch. Win-Some Just A Winning Way
WINNIE, Sired by Win-Some Charles Miracle.
Dam: Ch. Win-Some Just A Show Stopper.
Bred, owned and loved by Judy Ginsberg.
Like Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother,
WINNIE is a true Champion at heart.
Her short, but very impressive career with her handler and friend, KAZ,
started off with two back-to-back 4-point Majors, going Best of Breed
over Specials. Going on to finish her Championship in less than one
month with four Best of Breed wins.
A Special thanks to Kaz and Staff for a beautiful presentation and to
all the judges finding WINNIE so worthy.

(9-07)Big Brag from Barclay Lyca Poodles
Hi,
First of all I want to brag about our Ch Billy kids, (Ch. Baliwick Billy The Kid).
Last week Pat Lorenz's bitch 6 month old Paperbirch Annie Get U R Gun won 4 out of the 5 days for a total 6 points.
Friday 6 month old Barclay Lyca Heavenly Design got B/W at the Pocono Mt. Show under Bob Ennis. Sat. I didn't show, Pat's Billy puppy won B/W on Sat. at the Lehigh show.
Sunday Barclay Lyca Heavenly Design went in and got a major under Dr. Harry Smith, Mary Kate was shown in the Bred By class. Her mother, Ch Fendi, finished from the bred by classes and I will do the same with her daugher. Pats Billy puppy got reserve.
Funny thing is that we all wanted the open bitch Paperbirch Whatever Lola Wants to get the major:-) She is the bitch I have been living with and showing from the beginning, she only needs her majors ( could not find one till now). Really thought we would win with her as she is a cute little package and boy can she turn it on. Lola is sired by Ch. Baliwick Ballhoo. Manny is the grandfather to Mary Kate and Ashley. These Baliwick ( Billy) kids are sure making their mark as did the Manny kids last year.
We, Pat and I, are so glad we have Billy, he will make a statement on the black toys, he already is.
One more brag, Pat Lorenz and I done Mary Kate up by ourselves, she looked beautiful and just as good as the Handlers had their dogs, also Mary Kate didn't have any wiggies in her either!

CH Barclay Lyca Masterpiece CD NA OAJ
In May 2005 at age 9 months Ren began his show carrer earning his breed Championship undefeated in 2 weekends. He is currently trialing in Obedience, Rally and Agility. Ren earned his first 2 agility titles early this year and is working toward his 3rd. He earned his Companion Dog obedience title with a dogworld award this spring. His most recent achievement was at the 75th anniversary PCA event where he placed 3rd in a very large Novice B obedience class with a score of 197. He also did very nicely in Novice B Rally in an extremely large class, placing 2nd with a score of 98. We are looking forward to more exciting trials this fall.
thanks

(5-07)Gayle Roberson is a proud breeder:
"Mr Darcy", owner & trained by Joanne Roukens, by Ch Poco A Poco Blacken Decker out of Poco A Poco Dott Com passed his Therapy Dog Certification today with Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs. The test was given at a care facility for wheelchair bound adults with a variety of disabilities. Darcy has been doing informal visits at a senior center, but is now "official". I'm so proud of both Joanne and Darcy.
(5-07)Barclay Poodles sends us this beautiful photo of her Ch. Barclay Lyca Billy The Kid's latest win
(5-1)Barclay poodles received a nice letter from her puppies...
Chase wanted to brag on his brother Ren (Ch Barclay Lyca Masterpiece NA, NAJ). Ren got his first two legs on his CD this weekend at Paragould, AR with a 197 and a 197 1/2. The first day he was in a run off for first place in Novice B and lost it due to the "cuteness factor" - turns out first place was also High in Trial!!!! So a narrow miss for HIT on his first CD leg. Oh, and his "cuteness factor" - biting at mom's leg on the about turn. Little stinker!
These two boys are such fun and such workers!!! Lisa Harrison is Ren's owner. Look for him and Chase at PCA.............

(4-07)Barclay Poodles received wonderful news from one of her puppies...
Chase is still doing fantastic. He's now Barclay Lyca Piece of the
Action OA, AXJ He got his AXJ in Memphis a few weeks ago. All of
his action pictures still are of huge smile. Fast as a bullet and
loving it! We'll be headed out to Huntsville two separate weekends
in May.
(4-07)Poco A Poco sends more good news: I just got word today that "Annie", 2 years old on 12/28, and out of my Poco A Poco Dust Bunny has passed all of her testing to become a CERTIFIED THERAPY DOG. She is owned by Vicky Pienciak in Mendham, NJ, and was certified at St Huberts. All of these Certified Therapy Dogs from my breeding make me just as, if not MORE happy than Champions. They have to have very stable personalities to be therapy dogs.
(4-07)Another brag from Poco A Poco: Today (Sunday, April 1) Poco A Poco Lucy Leave It! Got her second leg in Novice Standard Agility, with a perfect score, and WON her class!
So, she got qualifying scores in both Rally and Agility on the same weekend. I'm very proud of this dynamic little Toy girlie.
(3-07)Silver Toy Poodle Poco A Poco Lucy Leave It! NAJ, CGC added RN to her name today (Syracuse) placing 4th in her class. Yippeeeee!! Owned/trained/handled by Bonnie Ovnicek, bred by Gayle Roberson
(3-07)Congratulations to Pat Lorenz on her girl, Ch. Baliwick Bagette, completing her championship.
(3-07)Paperbirch Whatever Lola Wants, owned and loved by Pat Lorenz, is doing nicely in the show ring. Shown here handled by Barbara Burdick.
(3-07)Gayle Roberson sends us word......I just got the exciting news that yet another "Poco", specifically "Teeny Bean Rava" has passed all of her qualifications to become a Certified Therapy Dog. She has already been doing weekly hospital visits and is the smallest in her therapy group, which includes a Standard Poodle, a Miniature Poodle, various Labs and Goldens, a sheepdog and a 155# St Bernard. Teeny Bean's Mommie even tells me that she participated in a pretend doggie wedding on Valentines Day in an assisted care facility. Teeny Bean, who weighs 5 and a half pounds is a particular favorite because she can sit on laps and be on the beds with patients.
This is the same Teeny Bean who appeared in an episode of the TV show Law and Order when she was but a few months old.
(2-07)Ch. Baliwick Billy The Kid went BOV at the Ashtabula Kennel Club show.
Now watch for Billy in his big boy hair cute. Next time you see him out
he will be in Continental. Billy will also be a father the end of Feb.
Gayle Roberson of Poco A Poco sends us news... Ch Poco A Poco Dust For Prints make her TV debut on the new series SIX DEGREES, appearing in the second episode. As usual for the Pocos, she
handled her gig like a pro!!
Poco A Poco Lucy Leave It! NAJ CGC (silver Toy) had an outstanding weekend
when she got a leg on her Rally Novice degree her first time in a Rally ring placing FOURTH in her class at Princeton Dog Training Club's 50th
Anniversary Trial, then the next day, competing in Agility, she got her
first leg on her Touch and Go title at a NADAC Trial, and another FOURTH in
her class!! Lucy also has some modeling experience, and is on the home page
for a training site, as well as her image going over a jump being used for
mugs, jewelry, etc.
Poco A Poco Lucy Leave It! (yes, the *!* is actually part of her name) is trained/owned/handled by Bonnie Ovnicek. How lucky am I to have sold her to such a nifty person???
Ch. Rosewood Red Sky Rocket is second generation home

Ch. Barclay Lyca Divine Design was Grand Champion at the William Penn
Futurity 2006
This was the 6th time for the Barclay Lyca Team (toys and miniatures)
Barbara Burdick sends word of Ch Barclay Lyca Leading Lady finishing her title. Good going Barb!
Tree Tops' Weekend Bar Hopper shown with his proud owner, Kris Bartell, "doin' his thing in the Agility ring ! "Alibar" was bred by member Diana Caulfield.
Barclay sends a brag: I am proud to announce that Baliwick Billy The Kid is now a puppy (10 months) Champion. He finished today at Chambersburg Kennel Club earning a major , under judge William DeVilleneuve. He was shown by Kirk Herrmann who presented Billy fabulously. I might ad that Billy has a fan club, there were people who came to the show just to see him. One lady followed him from the Phila. show to today's show and will be at next weekends Lehigh shows. Said she is getting hooked on black toys.
There were a few more family's who came ringside just to see Billy show. The judge even said to us he saw him waiting outside the ring and could not wait for him to come in. He said "what a team", Billy and Kirk.
Can't wait to see our Mr. Billy as a special, he will be moved up next weekend.
Billy was bred by Ianthe Bloomquest and owned by Pat Lorenz and Barbara Burdick
Barbara Burdick sends us an update on Baliwick Billy The Kid:
Sunday at the Kennel Club of Southern New Jersey under Judge Mrs. Kniola, Baliwick Billy Tlhe Kid got a major. He was shown beautifully by Kirk Herrmann. Billy is just 8 months old and has 7 points with a major. This is with limited showing. Billy is owned by me, Pat Lorenz and Ianthe Bloomquest.
Another plus is I just got back his optigen and he is NORMAL.
Billy, Baliwick Billy The Kid, owned by Barbara Burdick, Pat Lorenz and Ianthe Bloomquist.
Billy was out 2 times and so far has 2 BOV and a Group 4 at 7 months, shown by Barbara Burdick.
Congrats to all!
There is the young fellow named Kirk Herrmann who came to me a while back and said he always looks at our web page and loves our apricot miniatures. In July, I gave Treasure (apricot miniature) to Kirk to show. he said yep, I can finish her, no problem. He showed her at Perkiomen Valley Kennel Club where she got reserve. He took Treausre to Mass to get a major and finished her. Good job Kirk!
Barbara and Barclay Lyca Poodles (with a new champion)
Barbara Burdick's Ch Barclay Lyca Devine Design finished as a puppy from the Bred By Class. Congrats Barb!
More exciting news from the Barclay/Lyca Team:
Ch. Barclay Lyca No Ordinary Joe finishing his championship at 8 months old.
Watch for Joey in the obedience ring real soon.
A Big Brag from Barbara Burdick....
Barclay Lyca Divine Design is now a CHAMPION. Fendi finished in puppy trim out of the bred by class. She is the most exciting little black toy poodle. She loves to show, goes into the ring (all 9 1/2 inches) just to strut her stuff. She did it all, I was just there to hold the lead, she free stacked on the ground and table since she was about 4 months old. As Constance said Fendi had her own fan club. Look for her at PCA showing in the BOV class.
I would like to thank my friend Pat Lorenz for standing by me and helping with Fendi's hair.
I also would like to thank Ianthe Bloomquest for lending me Ch. Baliwick Ballyhoo to breed to.
This little dynamite is owned by me and Camille Lashley.
